White Shirt experimental drapes

The second project in my integrated studio course is to redesign the classic white shirt. We had to purchase a white shirt and drape new designs with it. This time, we began with draping instead of sketching as usual. This is definitely my favorite method of designing a new collection because I find it easier to understand how the garment will look three dimensionally instead of a sketch or drawing. I decided to drape without cutting the shirt.

What inspired me to create and design these drapes was a glass wall located in one of my classrooms at Parsons. I was very inspired the the shapes created inside each block.
